Donald E. Pogorzelski Vice President; President, Diagnostic Products Donald Pogorzelski joined Genzyme in 1988. He is responsible for managing all aspects of the worldwide diagnostics business unit, including Genzyme Virotech in Russelsheim, Germany, the rapid test products in San Diego, California, and facilities in Kent, United Kingdom, and Cambridge, Massachusetts. Mr. Pogorzelski’s initial responsibility at Genzyme was sales and marketing for raw materials for the domestic clinical chemistry market.  Prior to joining Genzyme, he held positions in human resources, finance, and sales and marketing at Abbott Laboratories. Mr. Pogorzelski has an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago and a B.S. from Loyola University of Chicago.
