Alison Lawton
Senior Vice President, Global Product Access, Quality Systems & Regulatory Affairs
Alison Lawton joined Genzyme in 1991. She has held various positions in Genzyme’s regulatory affairs department since she began with the company as an international regulatory affairs specialist. In her current role, Ms. Lawton is responsible for all of Genzyme’s global regulatory activities across a broad range of products. Her responsibility for global policy programs at Genzyme includes the promotion of global positions on government policies relating to public health, regulatory frameworks, and market forces. Her global health outcomes and strategic pricing group is responsible for developing health outcome and economic data to demonstrate the value of Genzyme products in the marketplace. Before coming to Genzyme, Ms. Lawton worked for seven years at Parke-Davis in the U.K. She has a B.S. from the University of London.
