Henri A. Termeer

Henri A. Termeer, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer

Henri Termeer joined Genzyme Corporation as president in 1983 and became its chief executive officer in 1985 and chairman in 1988.

Mr. Termeer is on the board of directors of both the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) and PhRMA. He serves on the boards of ABIOMED Inc., AutoImmune Inc. and Diacrin Inc. He is a trustee of Hambrecht & Quist Healthcare Investors and of Hambrecht & Quist Life Sciences Investors.
